I really enjoyed the article. Since I had a child, it has astounded me that it's okay to show breasts on screen in a sexualised way, but heaven forbid that women should show their breasts feeding babies. Before I had never given it much thought. However, as it turns out I clearly haven't been watching the right movies. I wouldn't think that films would encourage/discourage breastfeeding in a major way, but do you think tv might have more of an influence?
Ever since I had my first baby 4 years ago I find myself pleasantly surprised when I see someone breastfeeding or even talking about nursing their babies. I have seen breastfeeding in a couple of tv shows. I am not sure if you are looking for that or not but here it goes.
Friends- early season when Ben is born
Sex and the City- when Miranda has her baby
Charmed- Piper has 2nd baby
