Reel Milk in Blog-land!

I have enjoyed hearing from many over the last couple of weeks and learning of your interest in this project and want to keep you "abreast" of the latest developments...

"Reel Milk" has begun to make its way into the wide world of blogs:

The Huffington Post

The Well Mom

Mothering Magazine discussion boards

Motherwear blog (podcast interview)

I have included a "comment" function below so that we can start a dialogue...

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Sarah

I really enjoyed the article. Since I had a child, it has astounded me that it's okay to show breasts on screen in a sexualised way, but heaven forbid that women should show their breasts feeding babies. Before I had never given it much thought. However, as it turns out I clearly haven't been watching the right movies. I wouldn't think that films would encourage/discourage breastfeeding in a major way, but do you think tv might have more of an influence?

Ever since I had my first baby 4 years ago I find myself pleasantly surprised when I see someone breastfeeding or even talking about nursing their babies. I have seen breastfeeding in a couple of tv shows. I am not sure if you are looking for that or not but here it goes.
Friends- early season when Ben is born
Sex and the City- when Miranda has her baby
Charmed- Piper has 2nd baby
